Stonewall Jackson and the frog-crescent prince
Oyster Man and I saw this painting of Stonewall Jackson by Lisel Ashlock at Brooklyn Collective a few weeks ago on the night of Alexandra Grecco’s opening. Its been on my brains ever since. The original is $850 and has probably sold by now, but because we both loved it and are moving in together in a few months, it seems like a nice house-warming gift to ourselves, no? Good thing prints...

I had a dream...
I decided to check up on my old room mate a few nights ago. Of course I did this by reading her design blog and I ended up having this bizarre dream of being in some sort of refugee camp a-la District 9, but with hopes of soon moving (which is relevant because the man and I are moving in to Park Slope this summer).
